North Dakota Century Code 15-04-23 provides for a payment by the ND Department of Trust Lands to counties for roads and bridges in those townships where the state retains original grant lands. The payment “…may not be in an amount greater than the amount of the property taxes that would have been payable if the original grant lands in the county had been subject to property tax levies.”
If you wish to receive this payment, please fill in the application mill rate for the tracts shown on the spreadsheet and return the spreadsheet before December 31st as an email attachment to dltsurface@nd.gov. The fund numbers that apply to this payment are as follows:
1204, 1212, 1233, 1259, 1501, 1510, 1516, 1531
