The proposed Limited Land Sales, Non-Grant Land Acquired After January 1, 2020 Through Foreclosure or Deed in Lieu of Foreclosure, and Abandoned Railroad Right of Way Ownership Policies were presented to the Board of University and School Lands (Board) on November 24, 2020, for the first reading and will be presented to the Board at the Board’s December 17, 2020 meeting for the second reading. If adopted at the second reading the policies will become effective on January 1, 2021. Comments must be in writing via email or letter sent to dtlrequest@nd.gov and must be received by the Department of Trust Lands by 5:00 p.m. on December 15, 2020.

Executive session under the authority of NDCC §§ 44-04-19.1 and 44-04-19.2 for attorney consultation.
The proposed Continuing Appropriation Authority Policy were presented to the Board of University and School Lands (Board) on June 25, 2020 for the first reading and will be presented to the Board at the Board’s July 29, 2020 meeting for the second reading. The policies will become effective after the second reading in accordance with the Board’s policy titled Policy Introduction/Amendment/Passage. Comments will be accepted by the Department of Trust Lands through 5:00 p.m. on July 22, 2020.
Comments must be in writing and submitted to the Department of Trust Lands at dtlrequest@nd.gov.

Continuing Appropriation Authority Policy
The spring surface lease auctions scheduled for March 23 - 26 are postponed. We will post here as well as in the official county newspapers when we have new auction dates set.
We have a responsibility to you and to each other. We are following the North Dakota Department of Health guidelines to stay healthy and slow the spread of COVID-19; specifically in this instance avoiding gatherings of more than 10 people.
