Public Comment Period Open on Limited Land Sales, Non-Grant Land Acquired After January 1, 2020 Through Foreclosure or Deed in Lieu of Foreclosure, and Abandoned Railroad Right of Way Ownership Policies

The proposed Limited Land Sales, Non-Grant Land Acquired After January 1, 2020 Through Foreclosure or Deed in Lieu of Foreclosure, and Abandoned Railroad Right of Way Ownership Policies were presented to the Board of University and School Lands (Board) on November 24, 2020, for the first reading and will be presented to the Board at the Board’s December 17, 2020 meeting for the second reading.  If adopted at the second reading the policies will become effective on January 1, 2021.  Comments must be in writing via email or letter sent to dtlrequest@nd.gov and must be received by the Department of Trust Lands by 5:00 p.m. on December 15, 2020.
